Bingo Mural
70 Montreal Road. Artist: David Yeatman (2001)
This mural illustrates the evolution of bingo through three different scenes. The first represents the early beginnings of the game, when grains of corn were used as tokens. The second illustration, in the middle, depicts a bingo scene in the basement of a church. Since it was forbidden to give money as a prize, winners received various objects instead. Finally, the third illustration in the mural represents bingo today.
