The 2012 Maple Sugar Festival took place from Sunday, March 25 to Sunday, April 1. More than 8000 visitors came to savor some maple syrup with us!

This year’s program was quite diversified. The Maple Sugar Festival started with the Knights of Columbus Brunch on Sunday morning, March 25. On Wednesday, March 28, the Festival continued with the 6^th edition of Soup Splash. This year’s winners are Goodies (Judges’ Award) and Le St-Estèphe (Public’s Award). Celebrations continued on Thursday and Friday with the visit of the area’s schools. The Maple Sugar Fest team welcomed close to 1300 children during these two days. On Friday, March 30, the Maple Sugar Festival held an evening of dinner and entertainment with Marisol, the 2012 winner of the “Gatineau prend la scène” Contest in the “Singer-Songwriter” category. The Festival culminated with a Celebration Weekend that pleased the whole family!
