MVM.2010.0013.0001: Hansard of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario – x 42.5 cm x 42.5 cm x 3 cm
MVM.2010.0189.0001: Essay – x 30.5 cm x 124 cm Essay on the history of the City of Vanier’s territory when Eastview was renamed Vanier.
MVM.2010.0183.0001: Flag – x 91.5 cm x 183 cm Blue flag of the City of Vanier. With the City’s arms at one end and two gray lines in the upper left-hand corner. Still in its original packaging.
MVM.2010.0155.0020: Ticket – x 5 cm x 8.5 cm A ticket for the midnight mass in 1962 for St. Charles parish. Tickets had to be purchased to reserve a seat because there were too many people for the church’s seating capacity.
MVM.2010.0154.0001: Piggy Bank – x 19 cm x 18 cm x 5 cm A metal piggy bank painted red with “ST VINCENT PAUL” painted in white. The piggy bank was used for fundraising campaigns. On the side, there is a padlock.
MVM.2010.0145.0001: Shovel – x 19 cm x 99.5 cm x 3 cm A shovel given to the City of Vanier on August 11, 1972 by Macand Construction Ltd. as part of the groundbreaking for the complex on Bradley and Montfort street. The shovel has a wooden handle and a plastic burgundy handle.
MVM.2010.0126.0011: Brochure – x 24 cm x 10.5 cm Bilingual brochure for doorknob promoting Bernard Grandmaître as mayoral candidate for the election of 1982.
MVM.2010.0020.0001: Poster – x 25.5 cm x 20.5 cm Poster of the 50th anniversary of the Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes (Eastview, 1887-1937). This poster represents different places run by the Parish and pictures of two vicars as well as the Reverend Father. Date: June 19-20, 1937.
MVM.2010.0016.0004: Memory book – x 20 cm x 26.5 cm Memory book of the Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes for the 50th anniversary (1887-1937). This anniversary took place on June 18-20, 1937. The album is covered with green card and is connected by a wire.
