Work Team

The Vanier Museopark is a community museum. As a result, its mode of operation is based on committees. Each committee is responsible for the developing its own policies. Committees support the daily work of the Museopark’s employees. The Chair of the Board of Directors, Diane Doré, and the Executive Director of the Vanier Museopark, Rachel Crête, are ex officio members of all committees.

Governance and Human Resources Committee

This committee ensures the development of the Museopark's policies that govern all aspects of its operations. It is also responsible of the hiring and evaluation of the executive director and helps to manage human resources.

Research, Exhibitions and Collection Committee

This committee advances the topics and research methods to create the Museopark's exhibits. It proposes activities to cultivate new audiences, such as the Causeries, and ensures the development of the Museopark's programming.

Education and Programming Committee

This advisory committee, composed of educational professionals, discusses and helps to develop the Museopark's educational and interpretative programs offered to schools. It ensures that the educational activities offered by the Vanier Museopark adequately respond to the school's curriculums and to Ontario's Aménagement Linguistique Policy.

Communications and Marketing Committee

The Communications and Marketing Committee is responsible of creating and evaluation the Museopark's communication plan. It also advises the Museopark's on its marketing projects.
