Rachel Crête, Executive Director

Rachel Crête has worked with Bell Canada for many years where she held administrative positions as Project Manager and in human resources. She retired in 2003, after 29 years of service. Rachel Crête is also Returning Officer for federal and provincial elections. She was also involved in the Girl Guides Association and teaches painting on wood.
Janik Aubin-Robert, Curator

Janik graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Trent, and a Diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College. She worked in such institutions as the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Centre franco-ontarien de folklore (Sudbury) and the Peterborough Museum and Archives. As the Museopark’s Curator, Janik is responsible for implementing the museum’s mission and its mandate.
Dorine Drolet, Volunteer Programs Coordinator

Dorine Drolet has been working at the Museopark since November 2006, after more than 14 years of community volunteer work. She describes her position as Volunteer Program Coordinator as a natural personal evolution after all her experience in the volunteer sector. Her work allows her to see, even more, the importance of volunteers to the community.
Caroline Cantin, Communications and Marketing Officer

After graduating with a B.A. and an M.A. in History from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Caroline also completed a graduate diploma in Communication Studies at Concordia University. As Communications and Marketing Officer at the Museopark, Caroline will be able to build a bridge between history and communications. She is ready to face any challenge.

Laurianne Montpetit, Research Assistant

Having recently completed her B.A. in history at the University of Ottawa, Laurianne will start her M.A. in history at the same university in September 2012. Her interest in history has led her to join the team of the Museopark where she is in charge of some research and programming projects.
Heidi Duhaime, Maple Sugar Festival Coordinator

After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a B.A. in Social Sciences (honours program in leisure studies), Heidi worked for several non-profit organizations as well as in the leisure sector where she was in charge of program management and volunteer coordination.
Yanick Labossière, Research, Exhibitions and Collection Manager

With his Masters in History from the University of Ottawa, Yanick is presently pursuing his studies in Museology at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Yanick has recently joined the Museopark where his main tasks are research as well as maintaining and developing the museums collection.
