On March 23rd 2011, the Vanier Museopark was proud to present the 5th edition of the Soup-Splash, a competition that determines which restaurant prepares the best maple-inspired soup.

This event, that is presented as part of the Maple Sugar Fest, gathered the following restaurants: La Cité collégiale, Algonquin College, Piccolo Grande, Traiteur M.L., 42 Crighton Street Fine Foods Inc., Coconut Lagoon, La Favorita, Bistro Cartier-Best Western, Bistro St-Jacques, Gourmet Xpress.

Talk on Pioneer Families of Clarence-Rockland at the Vanier Museopark on September 15th, 2010 by Gilles Chartrand. Gilles Chartrand is the founder of the Clarence-Rockland Museum.

“La petite histoire de Janeville”, told by Robert Serré of the Gloucester Historical Society.

Robert Serré, led by his determined curiosity, is rediscovering the history of Vanier. His extensive research coupled with his spontaneous meetings and strolls, have brought him to stumble on a rich history to be remembered and to be told, this which he did on March 17th, 2010 at the Vanier Museopark.
